Editorial Policy
A status cell says how many sources agreed, and the date they were read.
Verified means at least two independent public sources: a project page plus a news story, a repository plus a store page, or two reports that are not copies of each other. One source stays labeled “1 source”. Player reports on a comment thread stay labeled as comments.
Dates, player counts, file sizes, and version numbers are copied from the page that printed them, with the day we read it. We do not average a live counter with a news estimate. We do not fill a blank language list or a blank race cap.
Each page ends with one limitation sentence. The evidence note distinguishes independent reporting from project-only details. Outbound links use rel noopener. Project screenshots name their source, and video preview images are labeled as YouTube thumbnails.
Questions
What does “1 source” mean?
Only the project itself, or only one article, said it. We do not promote that to “confirmed”.
