NFS Most Wanted Online in the Browser: MWO vs NFSMW Online

Two online projects share a nickname and not much else. The solo port is a third door.

MWO (nfsmwo.com, web client at web.nfsmwo.com) documents 16-player races, free roam without a published headcount cap, Race Now, and a login by email, Google, or Discord. The career sits on the MWO account. Their 29 Oct 2026 guide mentions 60 and 144 frame-per-second settings and a slow first load. The phone guide is a separate page on the same site.

NFSMW Online (nfsmwonline.com) is the other server: you register there, and each account has its own career. Chrome and Edge are named, phones get a lighter mode, and a launcher exists for PC and Android. I am not copying a race-size number onto this row, because the site did not publish one. An update dated 23 Oct 2026 is the changelog I can point at.

dezm0n’s itch page is solo. The author says online and LAN are unsupported. Opening that page when you wanted a race with 16 people wastes the evening. Pick the server first, then the button.
