Most Wanted 2012 was developed by Criterion Games and published in 2012. It is an open city with Fairhaven’s events, not Rockport’s blacklist. The 2005 game is the one with browser ports. Searchers who add “2012” or “navegador” are often trying not to land on the wrong year, which is why this page exists.

I found no browser recompile, no hosted career, and no emulator page that is actually the 2012 game in the sources checked on 3 Nov 2026. Steam app 1262560 was still listed that day. I am not writing that its official multiplayer is shut down, because I did not confirm that. The closest browser race with a blacklist and a police chase is Most Wanted 2005.

Spanish queries for “most wanted 2012 navegador” are answered on the Spanish Most Wanted page as a disambiguation, and they point back here for the year split.

Evidence for this browser status

The Steam listing confirms the Criterion PC game; no browser project was identified in the checked sources.

A native purchase is a different route

The Steam listing names Criterion Games, gives a release date of 30 October 2012, and lists the EA account and software requirements for the PC product. Those requirements apply to an installed game. They should not be copied into a browser guide as though a WebGPU host existed. Likewise, a 2005 browser save or blacklist tutorial has no documented transfer path into Fairhaven. Check the year on any external destination before creating an account or buying a game.
