nfsu2.xyz Is Underground 2 Revived

Hosted community port · 2 independent sources

Identity

th0mk/nfsu2-web documents an x86-to-C-to-WebAssembly browser port, with WebGPU graphics and browser audio. The README credits the upstream NFSU2Recomp project. Repository metadata and the host belong to the same project; they are not two independent confirmations of playability.

If you build it yourself

The README asks for the North American PC version 1.2. SPEED2.EXE must be 4,800,512 bytes. The SHA-256 in the README is f9dd86c054878ce6276beb07c1fd61874f7a1e4bf1f241b084c65b73e24168a7. Other executables are rejected. The hosted site is the path that does not ask you to supply that file.

Spellings that are not other games

nfsu2 xy, nfsu2.xy, nfsu2 xyz, nfsu2.xvz, and nfsu2 zyx are this domain remembered badly. They do not need their own pages.

Requirements and saves

The project documentation names recent Chrome and Firefox, plus Safari 26 on supported Apple devices. It describes about 7 MB of initial game code, about 2 GB of cached data excluding movies, and a little over 1 GB transferred when compressed. These are three different measures, not a 7 MB complete game. The same project documents local saves, zip backup and restore, and optional passphrase cloud saves. Detailed requirements are one publisher’s figures; the independent report corroborates the port, not every measurement.

Back up the right profile

The hosted game keeps its browser profile under its own origin. A cloud passphrase is an optional project feature; it is separate from an EA account and from any PS2 emulator memory card. The project documents a zip backup and restore panel. Use that panel before switching browsers or deleting site data, rather than assuming cached game assets contain the career.
