Two routes exist, and they are not substitutes. Route A is Underground 2 Revived at nfsu2.xyz: the public notes describe an x86 game lifted to C and then to WebAssembly, with Direct3D 9 drawn through WebGPU. Chrome and Firefox are named, with widescreen and adjustable frame-rate settings. Free roam and online rooms are both on the page, and a room holds up to six people. Route B is nfsunderground2.site, a PS2-style rebuild in Spanish that puts two players on one virtual machine and stores progress on a virtual memory card.
The first load is about 7 MB of code. Game data arrives as you need it. A full prefetch is about 2 GB once the movies are left out, and a bit over 1 GB on the wire. Eighteen interface languages are listed, including Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Hungarian, and Ukrainian. Phones: Chrome on Android, and Safari on iOS 26 or iPadOS 26, starting at 75 percent resolution.
The earlier 3 Nov 2026 research snapshot recorded 6,270 people online, 2,233 in free roam, and 396 in a race or lobby. TweakTown on 2 Nov 2026, citing a public post, wrote “about 3,000” and a capacity of 5,000. I am not averaging those.
The domain people misspell
nfsu2.xyz is the host. Searches for “nfsu2 xy”, “nfsu2.xy”, “nfsu2.xvz”, and “nfsu2 zyx” are misspellings of that name, not separate games. nfsu2.net and nfsu2.org are different websites.
Cheats and trainers
I did not find a redeem-code list for this port. Do not install a “trainer” extension from a search ad. If a code from the 2004 PC game is supported, the project page is the place that would say so, and it does not say so in the notes I read.
Evidence for this browser status
The project page and Hi-Tech Mail independently describe Underground 2 Revived; detailed save and download figures are project documentation.
Before your first drive
Open the documented host in a current WebGPU-capable browser and wait for its start page to load the game module. Choose keyboard, controller or touch settings there. The Saves panel provides backup and restore controls, while the optional cloud slot uses a passphrase rather than an EA account. Save the passphrase securely and download a backup before clearing that site’s data. The PS2 project has its own storage model, so its memory-card progress is separate from Revived’s browser profile.
Questions
What is the browser route?
nfsu2.xyz is the hosted PC recompile. nfsunderground2.site is a separate experimental PS2 project.
Do I need an account?
No EA account is needed for Revived. Its optional cloud save uses a passphrase.
