NFS Underground 2 Online: Revived vs the PS2 Site
One host shows a live crowd. The other puts two people on a virtual PlayStation 2.
Revived at nfsu2.xyz is the hosted online city. Free roam and online rooms are both listed. A room holds up to six drivers. On 3 Nov 2026 the page’s own counters read 6,270 online, 2,233 in free roam, and 396 in a race or lobby. TweakTown on 2 Nov 2026 wrote about 3,000 people and a capacity of 5,000, citing a public post. Those are different readings of a moving number. I am printing all of them.
nfsunderground2.site is the other online-shaped project: an experimental PS2 rebuild, Spanish interface, two players sharing one virtual machine, progress on a virtual memory card, and ads on the page. It is not the six-player WebGPU city. If a Spanish search sent you there first, the Spanish Underground 2 page explains the difference in that language.
A passphrase cloud save (“nfsu2-” plus eight words in the project notes) is not an account. Losing the phrase means losing that cloud slot. The local browser copy is a third place progress can sit, and clearing site data removes it.
Questions
Do I need an email for Revived’s online rooms?
No. The cloud save is a passphrase. Rooms are on the same site, with a published cap of six people in one race.
